It’s Been Awhile (a real life update)

Hey babes!

How have you all been!?

I sincerely apologize for my absence this month. I’ve been super busy with work and other life things. Good news is I’m back and ready to get back into my regular blogging schedule. I’m working on a new LOVES post as well as some trends I’ve been rocking this Summer.

Along with being extremely busy with work, I’ve been slacking on blogging because I’ve really been feeling unmotivated and uninspired over the course of the past few months. Upon starting this blog, I made myself a promise that I would only post content that I genuinely love and feel a connection towards. I would never in a million years post just to merely post. Following up on this promise, I’ve decided that I’m now ready to continue this journey and get inspired again with some super exciting new blog content.

A little about my mental health . . .

Lately, I’ve been in a rut with my depression and feeling really out of it. As a result of this, I’ve been failing to live my best life, especially, when it comes to expressing myself creatively through STYLBUG. If you’ve ever experienced depression you know how it feels to be completely sad for no reason at all. It’s like your mind wants you to think something is wrong when in reality, nothing is really wrong at all. Depression makes it difficult to simply deal with everyday things, let alone keeping up with a blog. I care so deeply and have such a great passion towards my blog that I only want my best self to be reflected. So if that means taking a bit of a mental break, I’m going to do just that. I’m back in therapy and really taking action to seek the guidance I need in order to get back to ME.

I want you all to know that I’m super excited for what the future has in store for STYLBUG so I hope you’re ready for all of the content coming your way.

I’m always going to be 100% honest with my readers because we are all fighting our own battles and it’s so important to be real and genuine in this life.

THANK YOU for being patient and sticking with me through this journey. Life is never going to be easy but we can all share a bit of happiness through this platform and more importantly, through love.
