I’m slowly beginning to realize that through every post you get an opportunity to learn a little bit more about me. That’s exactly why creating this blog is so special for me. Not only am I learning to open up and be more receptive as an individual but I’m learning that opening up to others isn’t so bad either. In fact, I love learning about what drives people and what they are truly passionate about. 9 times out of 10 those interests, loves and passions are shared and then become commonalities among strangers. That in itself is simply the beauty of being able to connect on this platform.
Okay, before getting all serious and sentimental on y’all about the beauty of blogging, this was and still very much is a post about the infamous LA Alfred Tea Room. If you want to learn anything at all about me or this blog you should probably know that I am and always have been COFFEE OBSESSED. From my famous almond milk lattes to my cold brew – I’m sort of a coffee connoisseur. No, I am a COFFEE CONNOISSEUR. Hehe.
Among the large array of trendy LA coffee shops, I can honestly say I’ve been to my fair share. I’m always on the hunt for the latest ma and pop subtly trendy but always quality coffee shop. I’m no stranger to the absolutely adorable and trendy LA chain of coffee shops known as, Alfred Coffee & Kitchen. All of the LA locations share trendy vibes and delicious brews. When I found out the Alfred chain was introducing a Tea Room, I immediately knew I had to check it out. Although my love for coffee greatly surpasses my love for tea, it was definitely worth a try.
Everything from the vibe to the atmosphere to the baristas (tea+barista) – Alfred Tea Room is totally worth the hype. I was absolutely obsessed with the rosy pink decor and the minimalist, yet girly touches of flowers and adorable patterns all over. Besides being completely overwhelmed by my environment and the decor, the menu was written in the cutest free-hand on the wall. There were so many options! I opted for the ever so pretty and delicious almond matcha latte. I’ve had matcha before but this was unlike anything! The latte was insanely good and the matcha was quality. My boyfriend went for a chai latte and it was AMAZING.
Since the beauty of Alfred Tea Room is super difficult to describe with words alone, check out some photos I captured below!
Sending love & happiness to my love bugs.
If you made it this far, THANK YOU.
